Switching gears

So the quarter's over halfway over. That means I need to stop worrying about completing all of my assigned reading and start focusing on my final research papers. In my Latin America class, it's a 15-20 pager; Cultural Policy, 13-15. I'm nervous.

BUT, guess what??? Garfield's on a plane right now on his way to visit me! :) So no time for stressing about research papers for the next five days. I'm a week ahead on my reading, so I'm going to do jack crap with a clean conscience the whole time he's here. When he goes, that's crack-down time. Gotta get crazy with the research and the library for three weeks, because I'll be HOME December 4th (until December 22nd), meaning work hard now because it's not that much longer until I'm done with this quarter.

I started my job, and it's fun. It's chill. It's cool being around music again. They even offered to let me play! I told them my clarinet was back in Cali, so they offered to let me pick up percussion. We'll see if I have the guts to do it :)

Okay, gotta run to class.

  1. I'm looking forward to you coming back to CA Sandy. It'll be nice to have you around again and you get home the day before E&K get back from their Honeymoon. TBH, with all the wedding stuff going on and the schedules G and I keep I haven't actually gotten to hang out with him too much since you left. I think we are planning to fix this next weekend. It's such a shame you two won't be around for the reunion though. Though TBH, it's probably going to be a small turn out this year.

I miss playing my cello too. I really need to get back to that. It's sitting in my closet right now..........just need to do it.
