For those of you that didn't already know, Obama's family home is literally about six blocks away from me.
And he's in town this weekend, holding a rally just 9 blocks away from me to get people fired up for the elections. Hyde Park is going to be a cluster fuck tomorrow.
Turned in a paper today, now I gotta eat dinner and head off to rehearsal. It's my first rehearsal with the Middle Eastern Music Ensemble (MEME). I just have to sit there for two hours and help move chairs.
Juliano's eye is looking better *phew* and all I did was rinse his eye with a little homemade saline.
At least things were crazy around your place for good reason. My first day back to work after E&K's wedding was crazy because there was a parade downtown for The Giants winning the World Series. I was over an hour late getting to work, I show up and all of my coworkers are at the parade leaving me nothing to do, and then I was an hour late getting home. I worked from home the next day even though I had two days off that week. :P
