The University is closed for the second day in a row because the streets are still so effed up. Juliano and I cruised on some side streets this morning to check things out: you feel like you're walking through a river of snow. It's pretty crazy.
Oh yeah, also: some guy stopped me to tell me about his 90-lb pit bull who refused to go outside in the snow. He saw Juliano romping through the mountains of snow and having a happy little time and he's all, "wow, you've got a brave dog there! Much more courageous than mine . . . " See there? Those stupid "man breed" dogs are a bunch of crap, just go get yourself a 17-lb shelter dog and you'll have all the canine you need. Macho men and their stupid macho breed dogs are so annoying . . . sorry, bit of a rant there. I'm not a huge fan of women treating their dogs like toys either, so I'm not a sexist hater.
Now we have *super* clear, blue skies today, and such is the forecast for the next couple of days. But the temperature is also subzero outside, so it's not exactly pleasant.
